I am so excited to announce that I have been chosen as a Tommy Nelson Mommy! Tommy Nelson, the children’s division of Thomas Nelson, Inc., was created to place into the hands of children of all ages a wide variety of high quality, enjoyable products that are consistent with the teachings found in the Bible. This also means that I am able to share some of these wonderful products with my readers!
This is my first month reviewing some of the products, so I am super excited!
Even though E is still only 16 months old, I am trying to introduce him to concepts such as church, praying, Jesus, and God. Of course, I know that he won’t understand these concepts until he is a bit older, but it is good to start planting the seed now. Prayers for Boys is perfect for this purpose!
Tommy Nelson provided me with a copy of Prayers for Boys in order to review, but all opinions are my own!
These prayer books are padded and are the perfect size for little hands. It even has a handle for carrying! Inside the book there are eye-catching illustrations and cute rhyming passages. The message of the book is that children can talk to God anywhere, and talk to Him like a friend.
I sat with E on the floor while he helped me to read the book. The cutest thing is that afterwards I saw him sitting by himself “reading” the book.
Boys aren’t the only ones who have a prayer book though. There is also a Prayers for Girls book which is geared more toward girls in terms of illustrations and colors. You can purchase Prayers for Boys and Prayers for Girls by going to Tommy Nelson’s website. Each book is $6.99 which is an awesome price for such a high quality book!
The best part is…wait for it…wait for it…Tommy Nelson is giving me the opportunity to give one of these books away! The winner will have his/her choice of either the Prayers for Boys or Prayers for Girls books.
All you have to do is to fill out the Rafflecopter form. The giveaway will run from April 16 through 11:59 p.m. EST on April 25. All prizes are fulfilled by Tommy Nelson, not Third Stop on the Right. Winner must be 18 years of age or older, and a U.S. resident.
