I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReliefMadeEasy #CollectiveBias

Summer is just around the corner and that means that many of us will be on the go. Not only will we be taking vacations, but we will also be headed to amusement parks, the pool, or a variety of other places. This also means that we might not be taking care of our digestive systems as well as we should.

With this on-the-go lifestyle, we often don’t eat as well — not eating meals at the right times (or skipping them all together) or eating quick and easy fast food. This erratic way of eating, plus with the stress of traveling, can lead to digestive issues and even occasional constipation.

Fruit has always been an easy way for me to help keep my system regulated. Plus, of course, it tastes delicious! I have recently been experimenting with fruit smoothies recently as not only a way to make a delicious meal, but also as a way to get enough fiber to keep my system regular.

One of my favorite fruit smoothie recipes is a tropical fruit smoothie. Plus, it is so easy to whip up in the morning or after a good workout. It not only tastes delicious but it is also so healthy.

This recipe only includes four ingredients so as I said it is so easy. You will want to purchase fresh oranges, pineapples, and strawberries from your local grocer.

Peel and cut all of the fruit, making them into small sections. Place them in a single-serve blender.

In addition to the fruit, I usually add between a cup and a half cup of almond milk to the recipe. This will make the smoothie more “drinkable.” If you want more of the frozen consistency, you can also add in a handful of crushed ice or ice cubes. Tip: You can add MiraLAX® for relief for occasional constipation.

Then just sit back and enjoy!

The great thing about these smoothies is not only do they provide fiber and taste great, but they lend themselves perfectly to adding MiraLAX® for when you are dealing with irregularity and occasional constipation.

The MiraLAX® bottles as well as the Mix-In Pax aren’t gritty and have no taste so they are easy to mix in to the smoothie and dissolve. It is a great way to get your body back on track.

MiraLAX works with your body’s natural process to provide safe and effective relief of occasional constipation. In addition, since MiraLAX® works with the water in your body to hydrate, soften, and ease, it naturally unblocks your system. Since MiraLAX® isn’t a stimulant laxative it doesn’t have harsh side effects either.

Be sure to use the MiraLax as directed and only use it one time a day for no more than seven days.

This summer, don’t be afraid of occasional constipation when you are on the go. Instead, head to your local CVS pharmacy and pick up a bottle of MiraLAX® or the handy MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax. Plus, print out this handy coupon for savings on MiraLAX® before you head out. Your digestive system (and your wallet) will thank you.
