It is amazing how quickly technology changes. I remember years ago when flat screen TVs first came out. I was in high school, working at Best Buy. Even though those TVs had flat screens, they still weighed about 1,000 pounds! Things have changed so much since then. Thirteen years ago, who would have even thought that TVs would look like they do now.

In fact, one of the coolest TVs this holiday season is the LG OLED TV at Best Buy. This TV is amazing. In addition to the obvious, that it is one of those awesome curved screen TVs, it is also only 0.21″ at it’s widest point. That is thinner than a pencil! In addition to its incredible width, it’s picture quality is amazing.

Picture quality is spectacular, with Infinite Contrast that ranges from the most blazing whites to the deepest blacks. And, LG’s exclusive 4 Color Pixel technology delivers bright, vibrant colors. This makes the picture seem so realistic, as if you are really there. In addition, the 4 Color Pixel technology gives you more realistic colors and represents a giant step ahead of conventional RGB displays.

I have to mention that I am fascinated by the curved screen technology. A curved TV makes it so that your eyes are all equal distance from the screen so it makes for a superior viewing experience.

If your mind wasn’t already blown, check out the remote control. It is actually voice activated! Change the channel, open an app or find something new with a wave of your hand, the scroll of a wheel, or LG’s unique Voice Mate with natural speech recognition.

At Best Buy’s everyday price of $3,499.99, this is for sure a TV that anyone would want on their Christmas list. I know that is is on my husband’s list! Find out more at Best Buy.com or at your local Best Buy store.
