Coffee is my go-to in the mornings. While it is often hectic while I’m getting the kids ready for school, I enjoy being able to come home, make a nice cup of coffee and take it to my office and relax a little bit before starting the day. In the summer, I will even take the cup out to the sunroom while I am reading my emails.

I have a nice little buffet in my dining room that I keep my coffee maker on, but the wall above it was blank. I have been working on decorating my dining room in an industrial theme, so I wanted something that would go above the buffet but still stick with my theme. Plus, I like things that are a little different so I wanted to go out of the box from just putting a piece of artwork there.

I found this really cute pallet-style shelf with cup hooks on it from Wayfair. I knew it would be perfect for that room. Plus, in addition to the natural and white colors, it also came in a fun and funky turquoise which went perfect with my tan and red dining room. The pop of color was just what I was looking for!

What was even better is I had these old marquee-style tin letters from a sign that stopped working a while back. I had been holding on to the letters because I knew that they would be perfect for a project someday. With the red wall in my dining room, and the turquoise shelf, these red letters really tied it all together.

There are four mug hooks which I used to display some of my favorite coffee mugs, such as my painting one. If you know me, you know that I love painting furniture so it was perfect. Plus with the mugs right above the coffee machine it is perfect for grabbing one and making a cup of coffee in the morning.

I love how this coffee station turned out, especially with the blending of colors and with the industrial look. Plus, I know as I keep decorating the dining room I can find everything I need at Wayfair!
