The problem is that they are both picky eaters. Very picky eaters. I want to make sure that they are getting all of the vitamins and nutrients they need so sometimes I have to get creative.
Despite being picky eaters, both of the boys love fruit. Well, fruit and desserts. I figured why not combine these two things into something that looks and tastes like a dessert but is actually good them? This is how I came up with the idea to make Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshakes.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Milkshakes
As I said before, these are really easy to make. All you need is:
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp chocolate Nesquik
- Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- Whipped topping
I used our bullet blender to create the milkshake. I added the milk and the 2 tablespoons of Nesquik. Since we didn’t have any fresh strawberries I got a bowlful of frozen strawberries and used them instead. I then blended everything together.
If you want a bit of a thicker consistency, you can add in a scoop of frozen yogurt. Put a dollop of whipped topping in the shake, add a straw, and enjoy!
What I love about using Nesquik is that it gives kids the taste of chocolate but as opposed to chocolate syrups, Nesquik has 7 essential vitamins and minerals, 45% less sugar, and no artificial colors and flavors.
You can pick up Nesquik at your local supermarket and let your child’s imagination run wild! You can also let your imagination run wild and check out the Nesquik Pinterest board for some additional inspiration.
