This post was sponsored by McDonald’s, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

There have been so many times where I’ve been in the mood for food but either wasn’t familiar enough with the area to go get it, or didn’t have transportation. It can be really frustrating.

Recently, while on a trip to New York City, I was introduced to UberEATS for the first time. (I totally wish this had been around when I was in college, by the way!) The idea behind UberEATS is that using the app you can find what you want to eat, order from an online menu, and have it delivered directly to your door. How easy is that?

So back to my New York trip. One afternoon after my conference sessions I found myself in the hotel and wondering what to eat. I was in an area I wasn’t familiar with, so I wasn’t even sure where to go to get something to eat.

I was able to simply open the app and browse what was available. I was really in the mood for a McDonald’s salad and smoothie so I decided to go with McDelivery. I was able to order both of those things, as well as a few other things, right from the app. The best part is my food was delivered directly to the front of my hotel.

Even though I’m back in Pittsburgh, I don’t have to miss out on my McDelivery. The best part is that everything comes right to my front door!

In celebration of Global Delivery Day, starting at 11 a.m. on July 26, when you order McDelivery through McDonald’s on the UberEATS app you can have the chance to win items from the McDelivery collection with your order. Some of the possible prizes include a Big Mac onesie as well as World Famous Fries sandals.

McDelivery on UberEATS is currently only in limited markets, but new areas are being added on a regular basis. For the full list of available locations and the latest updates visit the McDelivery website.
