Creamy Roasted Chicken Slow Cooker Recipe with the chicken on a plate and a pair of polar bear mittens sitting beside the plate. There is something about winter that makes you want to cuddle up by a fireplace on a cold day with a nice, hearty meal. The truth is, we don’t have a fireplace at our house and the weather has been in the 50s — not exactly the picture of winter. This doesn’t mean, however, that I can’t treat my family to a hearty meal.

With two small boys running around, I don’t have time for elaborate meals (let’s be honest) which is why I love making slow cooker meals. You can throw the ingredients into the pot in the morning and by dinnertime you have a delicious meal. Plus, by saving time on making your meals, it gives you more time to spend with your family (which is what is most important anyway!)

The other day I was experimenting in the kitchen with some slow cooker meals and I came up with this delicious Creamy Roasted Slow Cooker Chicken recipe. The best part is, that I simply used a can of Progresso® Light soup as my sauce!

Creamy Roasted Chicken ingredients laid out on table. These are: Progresso® Light soup, cream cheese, chicken, Italian dressing, and slow cooker.
