It's a purple and white Big Bearded Iris. (Did a Google image search since I don't know much about flowers!) Gorgeous!!

Actually, lilies are toxic to dogs as well as to cats!
All of my cats are inside cats and the flowers are on a hillside with a retaining wall that the dog can't get up. I think another reader said this was an Iris though. Are those toxic too? I will have to ask Dr. Google...lol
