I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Sweet’N Low. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Sweet'N Low Sample TruckI have recently started to embrace a healthier lifestyle. I wasn’t exactly unhealthy, but there are a lot of things that I could change. One of the biggest changes I realized that I needed to make was drinking less soda.

I was drinking several cans of soda a day. Not only are these drinks upwards of 150 calories (which are empty calories) but it is also hard on my teeth. This is why I have been working on drinking more uncarbonated drinks. Needless to say, I really miss my sodas, juices, and other sugary drinks.

That little pink packet. It’s an icon. Some of my relatives have been long-time Sweet’N Low zero-calorie sweetener users. In the past, I hadn’t really thought about trying Sweet’N Low since I had never shied away from sugar. Plus, I was a little bit worried about the health risks of saccharin.

Turns out, I had nothing to worry about when it came to the safety of saccharin since  numerous reputable organizations such as the American Diabetes Association, Academy of Nutrition and Diabetics, World Health Organization, and National Cancer Institute have acknowledged saccharin’s safety for human consumption and its benefit in helping to develop a healthy eating plan for long-term weight management as well as for maintaining an overall healthy lifestyle.

Visiting the Sweet’N Low Truck at the Pittsburgh Blues Festival

Last weekend, my husband, the boys, and I attended the Pittsburgh Blues Festival at Hartwood Acres. There we got to visit the Sweet’N Low truck. The purpose of the truck is to take Sweet’N Low to the American public so that they “Don’t Hesita(s)te” when it comes to experiencing the sweetness.

At the Blues Festival sampling event, we had the opportunity to test out some sweet tea, sweetened with Sweet’N Low of course! I wasn’t too sure at first, but after trying the tea I was shocked! I wouldn’t have guessed it wasn’t made from real sugar.

The day we visited the Sweet’N Low truck it was almost 100 degrees here in Pittsburgh so having a sweet tea at the tables with umbrellas was a great break. After trying the sweet tea, E and I took a few minutes to goof around and take pictures in the Sweet’N Low photo booth. The pictures ended up being amazingly cute.

SweetNLow2I was so impressed with the new taste of Sweet’N Low that the day after we came home from the Blues Festival I began swapping out the sugar in my morning coffee for Sweet’N Low instead. In fact, only one packet of Sweet’N Low, made with saccharin, is as sweet as two tablespoons of sugar.

Haven’t tried Sweet’N Low in a while? Tastes change over time, and if you haven’t tried Sweet’N Low in a while you can try a sample (as well as pick up a gift) when the pink Sweet’N Low truck visits a city near you! Additionally, you can enter for a chance to win money, prizes, and more just by uploading a picture of your favorite Sweet’N Low-sweeted drink with the hashtags #DontHesitaste and #contestentry in your post.

In the meantime, keep up with Sweet’N Low on Facebook and Twitter
