One of my favorite things to do with my boys in the summer is to go on adventures outside. This means that you can frequently find us at the park, at the pool, or even taking in the great outdoors on some walking trails.

With all of this activity, however, I’m finding that I am not quite as young as I used to be. Now, I find myself frequently suffering from minor muscle aches and pains. Thankfully, I have backup — in the form of TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain, as well as Extra Strength TYLENOL®.

Tips for a Successful Outdoor Adventure

No matter where we go, it is important to be prepared for anything. Because of this, I came up with a few tips to make a successful trip outside.

Stay Hydrated. The last thing that you want is to become dehydrated when you are out on a hike. Be sure to fill a water bottle ahead of time and take it with you.

Wear Comfortable Shoes. Wearing ill-fitting shoes can ultimately lead to blisters. Avoid this by wearing broken-in shoes. I advise taking some blister-relief bandages with you as well — just in case.

Prepare a First Aid Kit. I carry a first aid kit with me which has all of the necessities we need in case the unexpected happens. In addition to the TYLENOL®, I keep other products on hand such as:

  • Tweezers and scissors to remove splinters or other things.
  • Bandages for any minor scrapes or cuts.
  • Gauze pads and wraps for any more significant injuries.
  • Hand sanitizer liquid and wipes

Mix Up Some Trail Mix. Trail mix is a pretty important item when you are outdoors. It is important because not only is it easy to take with you as it requires no refrigeration, but it is packed with protein and vitamins as well as provides calories for energy. Also, eating the trail mix will help to keep your blood sugar stable.

Like I said before, I often suffer from minor muscles aches and joint pain the day after our adventures. Thankfully, I also have TYLENOL® in my first aid bag which I know will help relieve my headaches, back pain, muscle pain, and more.

It has kept me doing the things I, and my boys, love without having to worry about pain the next day. It has given me the freedom to enjoy life without the fear of pain!

You can purchase TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain as well as Extra Strength TYLENOL® in the pain reliever section of your local Target.

  1. Good tips! We don’t have many walking trails near us, but spending time hiking with my kids this summer is something I want to explore #client
