I was provided with a bib sample in order to facilitate the review, however, all opinions are solely my own.

When I was preparing before E was born, I went out and bought lots of cute little bibs. As I look back (which I find happening more and more these days) I realize I should have done this completely differently. Many of these bibs were cloth bibs, and although they were cute and they often matched his outfits, most of them are now stained from either drinks or baby food.

Then I was introduced to the Modern-Twist bucket bib. Now, after trying this bib, I have to say that I am hooked!

Modern-twist originally manufactured table products and placemats, however, they have now expanded their line of baby products, including these bibs! The bibs are made out of super soft food grade silicone, which feels really good on baby’s skin. The bib can be rolled up and stored in a diaper bag for saving clothes on the go.

Another thing that really drove me crazy about traditional bibs that when E was learning to drink from a sippy cup we had a lot of spills or water running down the face. The cloth bibs did nothing to contain these spills. The Modern-twist bib has a deep, soil-resistant, catch-all pocket.

My favorite part of the bib though is that after each meal this bib can simply be wiped off, dried, and reused. I don’t have to worry about putting it in the wash. Another bonus is that my son hasn’t been able to figure out yet how to take it off as he has with every single velcro bib.

The $20 price tag seems a little steep when you first look at it, but the way I view it is that you are actually saving since this bib can be used until your little one is two or three as it is adjustable, it won’t get stained or ruined from food, and you can wash it and use it over and over again. This literally will be the only bib you ever need. I promise you won’t regret it!

  1. I could have used one of these when my son was starting to try out new foods. I would have to clean and mop after every meal because of him dropping food all over.

  2. Oh, I so need that for my twins. At this point, they make such a mess with their food I strip them down to their diapers to eat. Bibs will quickly become the way to go, as they learn more that food is not to decorate the walls with. LOL
