I’m a big fan of breakfast foods. Whether it is eggs, pancakes, waffles, or of course, bacon, I am always up for a delicious breakfast. Thankfully, breakfast foods are also something my kids eat.

I recently found Simply Potatoes® refrigerated hash browns at my local Walmart. I am a huge potato-lover so having pre-shredded, fresh potatoes, all ready to go is phenomenal. Of course, this inspired me to make a big breakfast meal for my family.

As with any big breakfast, bacon and eggs are always a given, but what about a twist on the traditional hash browns? That’s why I decided to make some Egg, Cheese, and Hash Brown Waffles.

These waffles are delicious and something that the whole family will love.

Egg, Cheese, and Hash Brown Waffles

You will need the following ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the three eggs, milk, and cheese. Whisk well. Gradually stir in the shredded hash browns until the potatoes are coated in the egg mixture.

Prepare a waffle iron using a nonstick cooking spray. This is important in order to release the waffles from the iron.

Spoon some of the potato mixture into the waffle iron. You will want to cook the mixture until the edges are crispy and the mixture is cooked through. Then remove with a fork.

Now all you have to do is pair the hash browns with some scrambled eggs, bacon, and other breakfast foods.

I love using Simply Potatoes for this recipe is that it uses fresh potatoes, so you don’t have to worry about soggy potatoes for your recipe. You can find Simply Potatoes at your local grocer.
