I can’t believe my older son is starting kindergarten this fall. (Where has the time gone?) I have been working hard at teaching him the skills he will need so that he is about to keep up next year. From what I’ve heard from friends with older children, things move much more quickly in kindergarten than they ever did in preschool. This is why it is so important for me to know that my son will be able to keep up with the other kids.

Helping my son be comfortable with testing will be a major part of getting him ready for kindergarten as well. In fact, now that he is registered for kindergarten he will be having his kindergarten readiness tests coming up soon.

As a single mom, however, it can be hard to do all that I need to to help my son. Thankfully, there are resources out there to help me.

Recently, a program called TestingMom.com reached out to me to experience their program for preparing your child for testing. TestingMom.com is an accredited online site which offers test prep and skill-building programs for children ages PreK to 8th grade. There are an array of educational programs to help your child in reading, math, vocabulary, and more. Having prescreened sites is invaluable to me as a parent.
