Sands BethlehemI love being able to get out and do things with my family. No matter the season, I am always trying to find ways to keep the kids (and myself) entertained. I’ve heard such good thing about Sands Bethlehem that I knew it would be a must-visit for this year.

As a single mom I don’t like having to choose between activities for myself or for the kids. Often I am forced to make a choice between going somewhere “adult” for me and having to find a babysitter for the boys, or going somewhere that the boys want to go which doesn’t have a whole lot for me. It turns out this doesn’t have to be the case, and the answer is right in our backyard!

This is one of the great things about Sands Bethlehem — its truly a destination for the whole family! Plus, its located outside of Philadelphia in the Lehigh Valley so its a pretty reasonable drive for a weekend adventure.

When most people think of Bethlehem Sands, they think of the hotel and casino. (Btw, be sure to check out that awesome ore crane at the entrance!) The casino is great, but not only is there the casino to enjoy, but there is so much more, including restaurants from celebrity chefs Emeril Lagasse and Buddy Valastro, designer outlet shopping, and a spa for ultimate relaxation. Right now you can also enjoy 50% off of a Classic Manicure with a Spa Pedicure.

There is also Kids Quest and Cyber Quest which are ideal for entertaining the kids. April features Grossology Science Weekends, and every other weekend features themed arts and crafts, special activities, and more.

In addition to Sands Bethlehem, there is so much that the Lehigh Valley has to offer including historical sites, skiing, and shopping.

There are so many fun activities to do! I am definitely putting visiting Sands Bethlehem on our list of activities for this spring and summer. Be sure to check out their website at Sands Bethlehem.
