Ladies, let’s get personal for a minute. When was the last time you had a little “me time”? If you just said that you can’t remember, then its time to do something about that! Many women dread getting their period each month, but what if instead of dreading that time of the month we instead looked forward to it! Yes, you did read that correctly.
As moms, we tend to put everyone else’s needs above our own. Often, with all of the effort involved in caring for our children, spouses, and houses, there is little (if any) time left for ourselves. This is how we can use our periods to our advantage. Since we get a period once a month, this is an excellent reminder to take a time-out for ourselves.
Whether that time-out be going to get a massage, having a girls night out, or even just pampering yourself at home, the time that you spend focusing on yourself is invaluable. One of the ways I do this is with a home pick-me-up kit with products from Kotex and CVS.
