HuggiesUltraDiaper3I love spending time with my boys. I take tons of pictures of them during our adventures, but since I am the one who is usually behind the camera, it is rare that I am actually in any pictures! My husband (bless him!) doesn’t like having his picture taken, so he doesn’t really understand why it is important to me.

Thankfully, for situations such as this, selfies were invented. Now, I can take pictures with my sons without having to ask random strangers to take our picture, or worse, miss out!

In the past, E and I have gone to the pumpkin patch, amusement park, and even t events such as Disney on Ice. Now that Baby R is older, he can also join us in our adventures. We already have so many things planned such as the playground, the pool, and also the beach. I’m sure that we will be taking lots of selfies!

However, Baby R is still in diapers. Nothing kills the fun during an outing quite like a diaper blowout. More than once we’ve been on a road trip and Baby R (and at one time, E) wet through, or pooped through, a diaper. This usually requires stopping, doing a diaper and outfit change, as well as often having to also clean the car seat or stroller.

HuggiesUltraDiaper2As I said before, we have a lot of adventures planned for this summer. I can tell you for sure that no matter where we go I will be packing the new Huggies Snug and Dry Ultra diapers. These diapers feature a unique quilted liner and Leak Lock System which provides 12 hours of protection. This means that we can take long road trips or spend the day at the park and not worry about diaper leakage.

Speaking of parks, this summer families from all over will take advantage of parks, playgrounds, beaches, and rec-centers. These places do so much for the community, and now it is time to give back. Even better, Huggies wants to help too! From now until June 25, Huggies will be accepting all selfies of you and your baby with the hashtag #UltraHug. On July 6, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.

To enter the #UltraHug Selfie Contest:

  • Take a selfie of you and your baby and upload that selfie to Twitter or Instagram. Make sure to use the hashtag #UltraHug.
  • In the same post, make sure to include a text nomination including a name and/or identifying description of a community project in the United States.

Want to check out the new Huggies Snug and Dry Ultra diapers for yourself? They are available at your local Walmart or on Walmart.com. Afterwards, make sure to upload your selfie.

We did!
