i424hr_WhiteRecently my husband went to China. This was his first time in that country so wasn’t sure what to expect as far as power goes. In addition, he has a 14 hour flight to endure. Instead of just praying that his iPhone and iPad would last through the flight, and hoping that the electrical outlets would be compatible with his electronics, my husband took my Duracell PowerMat with him.

All you have to do to use the PowerMat is pop the wireless care on your phone, then plug it in. Now you’re ready to drop and charge any of your enabled devices. The PowerMat comes in different sizes for different spaces and needs with mats to charge 1, 2, or 3 devices at a time. This unique setup allows you ditch the tangle of wires so you have a a single wire that can charge multiple devices.

i4_DayTrip_Connectedi4_DayTrip_WhiteIn addition to the PowerMat and Wireless case that come with the iPhone 4/4s 24HourPower System you also get a Power on the Go portable backup battery. This backup battery provides up to a full extra phone charge to power you through your day, and is compact enough to fit your pocket or your handbag and comes with integrated Apple® 30-Pin and micro USB connectors. Same as a phone, just set it on the PowerMat when you need to recharge, and you are good to go!

LongHaul_iPad_iPhoneMaybe you are planning on going camping though and you won’t be able to charge your phone for a couple of days? Don’t worry! The Long Haul Battery has enough power to provide up to four phone charges; enough to keep you going for days. It doesn’t just charge phones though, its also powerful enough to charge tablets too. The Long Haul Battery features dual recharging options. You can recharge the battery through traditional USB or for ultimate convenience, you can recharge it wirelessly on your PowerMat.

See For Yourself How it Works:

Drawbacks: There aren’t a lot of drawbacks to the Duracell PowerMat, but there are a few minor ones. The biggest problem I had was the case. I had had an Otterbox on my phone before, because I can be pretty clumsy with my phone sometimes and lets just say that I haven’t broken just one screen! Unfortunately the Duracell PowerMat case wont fit under my other case. It would be nice if you could use the PowerMat but still you your own cases.

The only other drawback is that right now the PowerMat is only available for iPhone and Samsung products. Luckily, we have an iPhone so we are good, but if you have any other brand you are going to have to wait a little longer until more phones are added to the list.

BUY IT: You can purchase the Duracell 24HourPower System from the Powermat website. For a limited time, Third Stop on the Right readers can take 20% off of their order, plus get free shipping, when you use coupon code TAKECHARGE at checkout. Offer valid in the U.S. only.

WIN IT: One lucky Third Stop on the Right reader will win a 24HourPower System for their iPhone 4/4S ($74.99 RV). The contest will run through 11:59 p.m. EST on December 31.
